Valentine's Day!

This year for Valentine's Day we stayed at home together. Mateo has been working out of town in Vegas and it's been kinda hard for us as it seems we are joined at the hip ;)
So when he does come home for the weekends we like to just be together! Mateo bought me a dozen red roses and made me an awesome dinner of filet and lobster! It is so awesome having a husband that can cook...I just wish I could return the favor :) I tried though - I made him some cupcakes :) He is off again to Vegas tomorrow but I'm going to be right behind him and stay with him overnite because I don't have to work tomorrow.......

Vinny turned 2 on 2/3/09 but we just had his birthday party last night! He is such a cutie and it is so weird that he is Neil's exact miniature! We went over to Neil and Tara's house and Mateo made some hamburger's and then we had some cake and ice cream! Vinny got some new books, some new clothes and some new cars ( he loves cars! )

also - last weekend we went to Vegas to see Badfish - A Tribute to Sublime w/ dad & raquel and Neil & Tara (it was one of Mateo's Christmas presents!) We stayed at the Palace Station and had dinner there are the oyster bar :) yum...We had a really good time besides the fact that mateo lost our car keys in the mosh pit at the House of Blues and we didn't realize it until we were trying to hurry home so we wouldn't miss the Super Bowl..........it was not a fun day........but luckily someone turned our keys in and so we made it home just in time!
